Tribal ID Announcement

What is happening at the current federal level of government is quite disconcerting to all of us and rightly so. The protection of our people and culture is a top priority of Sherwood Valley and we want to do what we can to help facilitate that protection. Below is a link to a form for all of our members that cannot come into the Tribal Office to get their Tribal ID in-person. Due to many factors both domestic and abroad, we will need proof of identity through a photocopy of a State issued identification or by getting the form notarized. We will also need a recent photo (one taken within the last year).

We also encourage our minor members to have a Tribal ID which can be requested by their parent/guardian. To schedule an appointment to come in or if you have any questions, please call the Enrollment Department directly at extension 107. The form is available at the end of this article.

2025 Enrollment Application Announcement

Enrollment Applications are currently being updated and will not be available until after the 2025 Tribal Election. If you do not have a Certified Degree of Indian Blood from the Central California Agency, Bureau of Indian Affairs – Tribal Operations, the form is available below, you will also need to send in a Release of Information so that the BIA can share their findings with our office. The link for the Release of Information is below. We strongly encourage all interested applicants to start the process with Tribal Operations as soon as they can as their process can take months to complete.

The Enrollment Clerk is a resource for applicants but is not responsible for holding or completing paperwork for applicants. If you have any questions or need any assistance on completing the CDIB Application or other forms, please contact the Enrollment Department at extension 107.
